These questions cover HEFT returns, the lifetime defect guarantee on the HEFT Steady-Load Weighted Vest, and how to reach support. Full terms are in the returns and refunds policy and the warranty page.
What is HEFT's return policy?
HEFT accepts returns within 30 days of delivery with a full money-back refund. Change-of-mind returns must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging, and once approved and inspected they are refunded in full to your original payment method. You cover return shipping on change-of-mind returns, while items that arrive faulty, damaged, or incorrect are refunded, replaced, or repaired with return shipping covered by HEFT. All returns must be authorized first.
Can I return a HEFT vest after wearing it on a walk?
A HEFT change-of-mind return must be unused, unworn, and unwashed in original condition, so a vest worn on a walk generally does not qualify for a change-of-mind return. If a vest arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, or develops a manufacturing defect, that is covered separately under the lifetime defect guarantee regardless of use. To start any return, contact HEFT first through the contact page for authorization.
How do I get a refund from HEFT?
You get a refund from HEFT by returning your vest within 30 days of delivery for a full money-back refund to your original payment method. Change-of-mind returns must be unused and in original condition, and you cover the return shipping, while faulty, damaged, or incorrect items are refunded, replaced, or repaired with HEFT covering return shipping. To begin, contact HEFT through the contact page with your order number and details before sending anything back, since returns need authorization.
What does the HEFT lifetime guarantee cover?
The HEFT lifetime guarantee covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship on the vest for as long as the original purchaser owns it, including failed stitching, cracked or broken buckles, straps separating from the body, Velcro that fails from a manufacturing fault, split or leaking filler panels, and shoulder padding that separates. It applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase, and HEFT covers return shipping on confirmed defect claims.
What is not covered by the HEFT warranty?
The HEFT lifetime guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear such as fading, thinning, or softening, Velcro losing grip over time, odor or staining from sweat, misuse or overloading, accidental damage like tears, cuts, or punctures, damage from ignoring the care instructions, machine washing, alteration or attempted repair, cosmetic marks, or damage from damp storage or prolonged sun. It also does not cover loss or theft.
How do I make a warranty or defect claim with HEFT?
To make a HEFT warranty claim, contact HEFT through the contact page with your order number, proof of purchase, a description of the fault, and clear photos or video showing it. The vest may need to be returned and assessed before a remedy is provided, and where a defect is confirmed, HEFT covers the reasonable cost of return shipping and provides a replacement or refund. Claims can be made any time you own the vest.
How do I contact HEFT for support?
You can contact HEFT through the contact page on shopheft.com, by email at info@shopheft.com, or on Instagram at @heftraining. The contact page is the fastest channel and the only one that can process damage, loss, return, and warranty claims, since those need your order number and supporting photos. HEFT does not publish a phone number, so written contact is the way to reach the team.
What should I do if my HEFT order arrives damaged?
If your HEFT order arrives damaged, contact HEFT through the contact page within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos of the damage, and photos of the packaging. Reporting within that window lets HEFT open a carrier claim while it is still possible. Where an item is confirmed damaged in transit, HEFT provides an appropriate remedy such as a replacement or refund and covers return shipping.
